When Time Strikes..

"मनुज बलि नही होत है, समय होत बलवान,
भीलन लुटे गोपिका, वही अर्जुन वही बाण "

My father tells these lines of wisdom since my childhood. How true they are..!!
There can be two ways of looking at it, Either you fall in the category of, "Why to waste the energy if Time is not favouring", or you keep trying because "you never know when is your time!!"
In fact since our childhood, we have always been taught contradicting theories। Look at these " "जब दांत नही थे तो दूध दियो, जब दांत दिए तो अन्न न दियो ", or like "अजगर करे ना चाकरी, पंछी करे ना काम, दास कबीरा कह गए सबके दाता राम॥" On the other side we keep on reciting Geeta's shloka where Shri Krishna talks about superiority of Karma.
We Indians are master manipulators and have escape goats for every unwanted situations. We love to appreciate the Karma when someone is successful, but if something fails its because Bhagya was not with him.
Why can't we have a consistent stand. For me Bhagya is not something on which you have control, Its like a roll of dice. Why to spend time and energy on which you don't have control..?
I do agree that only having requisite skills and hard work doesn't guarantee that you will be successful, but if you are not working its guaranteed that you will fail.. Do we have control over the other variables of the equation..? You cannot be sure about what will be the outcome of the roll of dice, but why not be prepared, and make the best use when the dice rolls in your favour.
As the say "Fortune Favours the brave." It's again an overstatement to me, your bravery has nothing to do with your fortune, its just that you are persistent in your effort, and when the tide came you were ready to sail. It's more about law of averages when we say Every Dog has his day.
I wish It was possible to have a Rewind button in life :), Then every plan would have been a super success. Life moves in only one direction, and willingly or unwillingly, you have to move on.
You will not have this moment in your life again so why not make the best use of it.

You fool, you already have wasted so many while reading this :).

To conclude.
Dance, Dance until it rains..!! There is no shortcut to success.

Cheers
KP

In my opinion, success is more about perspiration than luck! I have one good example of president Abraham L.
